Prior to the in-person 1:1 interviews with Target staff, I participated in leadership profiling exercises with an outside firm. This consisted of 1) online career history and motivation questionnaire 2) online IQ type tests (logic, numerical reasoning, vocabulary) 3) in-person interview with an industrial psychologist 4) mock meeting with a manager based on a written case provided several days earlier.
The interviews with Target personnel were standard behavioral interviews (tell me a time when...) and were very straightforward.
