I saw an ad on Craigslist and sent my resume and cover letter online. I was invited to an open house, where I talked to a hiring manager. They offer a free 40 hour security guard course (necessary for getting the Security Guard Licence needed to work) as well as CPR/First Aid. After getting your license, they place you, and after your probationary period (3 months), they even reimburse you for the 40 hours.
