I am very glad that this prospect applicant put this information on line. This is an important point for all who recruit at TRT. At stage #2 of the 6 step recruiting process you are asked how much is your expected salary as this. This is exactly what this applicant did , based on that information and other factors we endorsed this applicant through the various stages of the recruiting process. I the CEO who was the person who made the decision to cut this application also interviewed him as part of stage #5 the final interview. When I endorsed him to job offer Stage #6 and presented a salary offer which BTW was exactly what he had asked for in Stage #2, then he wanted to renegotiate. To the logical, this could say only one of two things. Either the applicant is not forthright or lacking in details. Neither TRT wants in a prospective employee. Renegotiating your salary at the end of the recruiting process is like selling a service or product to a client and then when they are about to buy, then you increase the price. What are the chances that a client would buy the service when the sales person increases the price right when they are about to buy the service? Very little chance many would say.. Then that's what is happening here. The advice is to avoid what happened to this applicant and others that have done the same, be very clear upfront (Stage #2) of exactly what you want in salary and conditions.
