The experience was terrible. I had a phone interview, and the interviewer was unfriendly and seemed completely disinterested. The interview only lasted 18 mins, and that was only because I stretched it out by asking several questions at the end. The interviewer only asked me two true, open-ended interview questions, and they interrupted me both times when I was about halfway through my answer. There were some problems with the phone reception throughout the interview (I'm not sure why, but I was in an area with good reception on my cell phone), and they expressed a fair degree of irritation about it, and implied that it was my fault.
Overall, it was a very negative experience and the interviewer was highly unprofessional. My advise to Sun Life is that they stop using third-party HR consultants to do their interviews for them. The measure of a poor interview is when the interviewer shows a complete disinterest in conducting the interview from the very start, asks very few questions and interrupts the interviewee. The interview is rated as "very easy" because it wasn't even a proper interview. It was a waste of my time (and presumably the person who interviewed me as well).
