They requested a screening call on the same day as I submitted my application. The call took 1 hour and was with their recruitment team based in California where after a brief intro they said I would be perfect for the role and were wanting to fill it ASAP. They then went on to describe the compensation package in great depth. The implication was that all the boxes were ticked.
A week later got an email saying they will not proceed as the recruiting manager determined I had insufficient ecommerce experience, yet there was no requirement of this on the job spec.
They refused to have any further conversation.
Given this experience I would suggest others avoid this company.
Advice to company: confirm that the recruiting manager is interested in moving forward before spending so much time describing the compensation package. This experience turned me from being positive about the company (benefit of doubt given all the negative reviews) to being negative about it and there already more than enough negative reviews.
