I was first contacted by a hiring firm that reviewed my credentials, experience and current job duties. I was then brought in to interview in person with the owner. I was told there were more interviews to conduct but that I was a strong candidate. After the interview I waited 3 weeks and emailed the owner for a follow up. After 2 more weeks he called me and conducted a somewhat on the spot interview and then offered me the position. I proceeded to negotiate benefits and a start date and was told I would be receiving an official offer soon. As the start date approached I was never contacted by the employer again and never received the official job offer. It was extremely rude and unprofessional conduct. I missed out on other job opportunities due to thinking I had earned this one. Extremely disappointed that my time was wasted.
