I had emailed the company asking is there were suitable positions, but did not receive any response. I then used a referral and got a call from the HR. I was based out of their city, so they made adequate travel arrangements. Upon arriving, I was made to wait for over an hour before being called in. Interview was conducted politely and skilfully with mostly technical questions about my prior work and other questions relating to what I could contribute to their research. My enquiry about the contentious nature of some of their findings seemed to not be well received. I never heard back from the company and regard this as unprofessional.
