Solicité el puesto en persona. El proceso duró 4 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Starbucks (Kennett Square, PA) en oct 2008
Entrevista
Dropped off application in person, introduced self to supervisor on duty. Received a call to come in for an interview two days later. The interview was set for later that afternoon with the store's manager. Arrived on time, was served a free drink, and left to wait for 45 minutes before the manager came to the table. Manager did not ask any questions besides, "when can you start," and "do you speak any Spanish?" Almost before I could answer I was told about the training process, the orientation period, and how everyone split tips. He THEN took a look at my application, and told me if I could not work the hours he needed, then the interview was over. When I responded I could not work 5am every day, my hand was shook and he left the table. The next morning I received a call offering me minimum wage for the position.
Basically a short chat about my availability, my interest in the job, why I want to work there, how familiar I am with coffee and what my past experiences in hospitality were.
Easiest interview I've ever had. I was only asked 3 questions, 'tell me about yourself, what are your strengths & weaknesses, what is your availability?' Lasted about 10 minutes maximum
Thank you for taking the time to write your feedback. We appreciate your input and are happy to hear that you’ve enjoyed the interview process here at Starbucks.
it was great. I answered every question thoughtfully and easily. You have to have two interviews, one with the manager and one with the district manager. It is a in person interview. They ask many questions and will either hire you on the spot or you will have to call to see if you get the position.
