I had a phone interview that went well and they asked me to come in for an in-person interview. When I got there, I spent the first 45 minutes of the interview writing a calendar application in Javascript. I didn't quite finish because I ran out of time. Then I had a 30 minute interview with the CTO, the IT manager, and the lead developer. They asked me questions about my skills and background. I thought the interview went well, but they never got back to me about whether they wanted to hire me or not. I called the HR department two weeks after my interview and she said the manager would get back to me, but he never did. I'll assume they don't want to hire me since they never gave me an offer, but I think it's a little odd not to tell people why they weren't hired, especially when they take their time to do an in-person interview.
