1. Recruiter Screening
2. Take home Assessment
3. Interview with founder, Sarah
I did not have a positive experience in my conversation with the founder. The interview was rescheduled twice, and communication from the team felt disorganized. During the call, the interaction itself felt rushed and lacking in engagement, which made it difficult to have a productive, two-way conversation.

Why Solace? Are you comfortable with being in Office, not remote anymore
Solicité el puesto a través de un captador. Acudí a una entrevista en Solace (Redwood City, CA) en jun 2026
Entrevista
Recruiter outreach followed by 2 rounds. None was particularly memorable then weeks later got an invite to onsite final round. Very odd. I would not bother interviewing here unless you don’t mind spending time on free consulting.
Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 2 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Solace
Entrevista
The recruiter described the interview process as having several steps. Phone screen, hiring manager interview, team panel, culture interview, and I forgot the last one.
The recruiter was very helpful in answering all my questions, and I felt like they knew what they were looking for in a candidate.
However, the hiring manager's interview started late, and they didn't seem prepared to conduct it. The call was for 30 minutes, but it probably would have ended after five minutes if I weren't the one carrying the conversation. I had no idea what they were looking for, and it was a waste of my time.
