      Entrevista de Marketing Associate

      Solicitud

Envié una solicitud electrónica. El proceso duró 5 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en Sikich (Springfield, IL) en feb 2019

      Entrevista

I was honestly confused about their interview process for what they called an "entry-level" position. I had three phone interviews. One short one with an HR rep, a long one with a marketing manager, and a longer one with the marketing director. Then I had an on-site interview. To prepare they sent me an email with tips on how to interview professionally (make eye contact, don't wear jeans, etc.) that I felt was a bit patronizing. It also told me I would be meeting with four people from that location and gave me links to their LinkedIn profiles. When I got there I was brought to an empty room and the interviewees were supposed to come in at their scheduled times to speak to me. It was very clear that none of them had prepared any questions or scheduled an order for them to interview with me. About 15 minutes into every interview, the next person would knock on the door, ask if we were done, and the current interviewer would say "ummm, sure," and leave. None of them knew who I had interviewed with so far. In addition, they added two more interviewers that were not in the email and didn't tell me or introduce themselves. This really confused me about who I was speaking to and made me feel that I couldn't accurately or properly represent myself. I was told I would be called later that week with a decision. I was emailed two weeks later with a rejection.
