I applied in October 2017. I was able to connect with the recruiter for the role a couple weeks after and got an in-person interview. It was the life story interview. It went really well and the recruiter said she would let me know about the next stage which would involve a test. I read another review that seemed to have the same experience as me. The recruiter is responsive at first but then when they've moved on, with another candidate I suppose, they ignore you. I sent three follow-up emails to the recruiter. NO response. And I was never able to take the test which was disappointing. Shopify says they get back to everyone regardless of the outcome. Don't believe the hype. They don't.
