I applied online and received an email a week later from the editorial assistant. She set up an appointment to come in and interview for an internship that would begin immediately. The interview was standard and quick. It lasted about 30 minutes and VERY standard questions were asked (strength/weakness...etc...) I think they really just wanted someone who was excited about being in that environment and someone willing to do all of the admin tasks because she really stressed that it would be mostly busy work and kept asking if I would be okay with that. I came back in the next week to meet with the editors I would be working with and we really hit it off. Overall, it was a great experience.
