As many companies do now, they expect you to go through 5-6 stages of interviews with each interview being more difficult in the last. They expect you to put in time and effort towards preparing for the interviews and the assessments. I feel like they make you jump through 100 hoops to see if you are qualified or not when in actuality a one hour conversation would suffice. If you have the experience and you have worked hard on making sure you excel in the interviews, that isn't enough. I am disappointed at the time it took for them to turn me down after already having had numerous interviews. They make you go through math questions, english questions and once you pass that you still have 5 interviews to go where you need to go through hours of grilling and a presentation. I don't think companies appreciate the time and effort candidates spend on trying to land the job.
