To me, the interview process is not only about finding out if I am the right candidate for you, but if you are the right company for me and sadly I didn't see Semler as the right fit for me at this time. I applied online and was contacted by an internal recruiter to schedule an initial phone screening. We had 30 minutes booked for us to learn more about each other and our call clocked in just under seven minutes. You barely asked me any questions outside of what I did in my current position and why I was looking for change and most importantly you didn't ask me if I had any questions about the role or the company which is crucial during the early stages of the interview process. I made sure to set aside time in my busy schedule and did my due diligence to prepare for the call and the lack of professionalism with rushing things left a very sour taste in my mouth. Just as a side note, one might jump to the conclusion that maybe she cut the call short because she didn't feel I was the right fit (fair enough), but that wasn't the case as she followed up a few days later asking me for my availability for a second call with another TAM. A word of advice, if you set aside 30 minutes, use it wisely. Get to know your candidates better and at the very least let them get to know you. Who knows, this could have been the perfect role and company for me, but we will never know because of how poorly your first impression was.

good, the company is small but has a lot of smart people working there. the recruiter was top notch and was very prompt about the interview scheduling process. I was working within ten days of the interview.
