I was interviewed for a contract role. The interview was 23 minutes long and over the phone. No face to face. The questions were pretty simple and on the generic side. Felt more like an informal chat about my previous roles and experiences. The weird thing was that the people who interviewed me were not people involved in the project I was being interviewed for. Like...how can you understand if I'd be a good fit for the project if you're not working in the project yourself? I got the job and I took it.
