The professor that I ended up working for was in a tight spot during the interview process, so my interview is not necessarily reflective of most UTA interviews. The professor emailed students from the previous two semester who got A's in the class and asked if they wanted to be TAs. The "interview" was less of an interview and more of a meeting about the responsibilities of the job.
