Interviewer did not introduce himself and saw my CV in front of me in under 1 minute and told me tell me something about you which is not present in CV. Interview was 99% Frontend and only 10% backend which i did not expect. Interviewer was most probably himself a frontend dev. He did not ask me anything related to backend. Turn off for me. Then he asked very difficult interview questions 1. What is ISG, SSG, SSR in next 2. What is the difference between Virtual DOM, Real DOM and shadow DOM 3. What is Event loop 4. Write a custom hook to fetch API url 5. DSA questions were basic 6. Write a javascript code to return the frequency of an element in an unsorted array if that element is present in the array 7. Write a Code which checks if an element is present or not in an array. Interviewer did not even touch recursion, or Divide and conquer or backtracking or anything else. He was forcing me to write a code in javascript for DSA problem. I told him i am comfortable in C++ and even i explained him the approach. But he was keen on me writing the code from memory.(I am sorry but this is Gen AI era) He could have asked difficult questions on DSA, I would have explained him the approach etc. I did not expect he will be asking me frontend questions in a fullstack interview.
