Entrevista
I applied online and got a call from a manager 10 days later asking if I would be available for an in person interview. We set up the date and time and hung up. I went in for my interview and was asked to tell her about myself. She then explained about Ross and their procedures. She asked me why I wanted to work for Ross. I gave her my several reasons and she asked me if what she had described in the position details would be acceptable to me and I agreed. She then offered me the position contingent on my background check. A week later my background check came in and I received a phone call asking what time I was available for orientation. We set up the time and date and hung up. I had two emails from Ross before orientation with some of the hiring paperwork and W-4 forms. They were to be completed before orientation. Orientation lasted 8 hours and began with the usual reading pamphlets and watching the store videos. We signed papers and then were given a tour of the store. After that, we were paired up with a buddy trainer to begin the training process.

Very awkward over all, they kept trying to 'trick' me by changing up certain words and seeing if id catch the change in the question. Also put you on some super old school website training.

The interview process at Ross Dress for Less consisted of meeting with a store manager to discuss my customer service experience, cash handling skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. I was asked situational questions about handling customers, teamwork, and resolving problems. The process was straightforward and focused on my availability, work ethic, and ability to support store operations

Fast and easy! They mainly asked about my previous work experiences and my availability. They also asked what great customer service is like to you and why I would be a good fit to the company.
