I applied online and received a response to move forward. Phone screening- went for 45 minutes. Recruiter asked about two key projects. Overall a good experience. After two weeks scheduled for 30 minute interview with a product manager and 30 minute case study on a product. I was told I need to bring a product to the case study. I thought I need to prepare a case study. So I prepared a presentation. On the day of interview, I was told that I will be asked some questions on the product I selected. Lack of clear guidance. On the interview schedule email, recruiter shared a link to know more about the interviews. That video had garbage content on how the employees are using slack to stay in touch during CoViD and showed their pets. However, I did well on both the interviews even when the case study was a complete surprise. After that, I emailed the recruiter saying thank you and keep me posted. Within 5 minutes she emailed saying g to here is no clear fit for me at this time. I didn’t understand on what basis ? Because my interviews went really well.
