I had a highly positive experience during my interview at Riseup Labs. The HR team asked thoughtful and relevant questions that reflected a deep understanding of my background, making the conversation meaningful and engaging. The technical interview was equally rewarding, covering a range of topics including system design, background jobs, and more. I was asked to solve problems in real time, which added an interactive element to the session. They also delved into my previous work projects, asking how I defined new systems based on given requirements, as well as how I approached designing databases to support those systems. These questions were challenging yet insightful, allowing the interviewers to truly assess my technical depth and problem-solving abilities. Overall, the interview felt well-structured, and I appreciated the thoughtful approach of both the HR and development teams. It was a great experience, and I enjoyed every part of it.
