I applied through Indeed and was contacted within days for an interview. The person who contacted me was very friendly and warm and was complimentary towards my skills and experience. I was invited back for a second interview with a different person the same day. It went well, they gave me a good overview of what the interview process was like. I had a third virtual interview the following week that included another member of the team that focused on questions around soft skills. I thought that call went well, too. Then they gave me a homework assignment and we set up a fourth call for the following week. I worked hard on that assignment and planned the demo for the next call. About 30 minutes before the call, I received an email asking me to reschedule for the following week. It turned out the person who emailed me was asking the wrong candidate to reschedule and my interview was still on.
So I had my fourth round with three people this time, demoed the solution that I created, answered questions, and was told that I would hear back from them within 2 weeks. I waited patiently, sent two follow-up emails, and no one ever responded to me. Given the fact that we had gone through four rounds of interviews and that I spent hours creating a solution for their homework assignment, I thought that it was extremely unprofessional for them to not at least send me a "no thank you". This was a complete waste of my time.
