Rakuten visited my campus for campus recruitments. Their procedure was divided into the following stages : 1. Resume Shortlisting 2. Coding Test on Codility 3. Interview I made it through the first round. Their coding test in the second round was very simple. It had some time constraints. I made sure it ran perfectly. When the names were announced, I was shocked to not hear my name as I had done everything perfectly. Asking from my friends who got selected, it seems they selected only those people who were aware of Android or knew Japanese. If they were looking for specific roles, they should have specified it earlier instead of wasting our time.
