I was reached out months after I submitted an online application saying there's a role that I might be a fit for. I had a phone screen, a domain phone interview and an on-site interview. I was given a design challenge to complete and present for the interview. On the day of on-site, I was interviewed by a bunch of designer over skype (yes, while i'm onsite- how odd is that?) and some in person. 3 of the designers didn't show up because their meeting didn't end in time and they didn't inform anyone else of the situation (pretty unprofessional), so I was being interviewed by only one person at times, when it should've been 2 or 3. One of the 30 minute skype interviews, the guy was late 20 minutes because he had it in the wrong calendar or something. So we basically had 10 minutes to talk before the next one. Not the best impression of a company from an interviewee perspective. In the end, I spoke with the recruiter who had initially got in contact with me who told me they would have an answer for me the next day. 2 and a half weeks go by and still NO response so I finally e-mailed them. The recruiter responds saying they're going to pass. They didn't even have the decency to give me a rejection call or e-mail as soon as they decided, especially since I had to take a day off from work and spend a whole week on the exercise. Overall, not a company I would want to work for due to their lack of respect and an unprofessional interview experience.
