The online paperwork is self-explanatory. I’m assuming if they like your prior work/life experiences that’s when you receive an email telling to come into the corporate office to take a 1hr assessment. In my case, I watched a 10 minute video. It asks you if you’re still interested and if so a math test is given. I completed mine in 5 minutes and scored a 102.77%. They give you pen and paper to work your answers because apparently their system has timed out and some applicants lost their answers and had to start over. So write down all your answers but some of the questions can be done in your head. Then they schedule an interview for a minimum of 4 business days out. I picked the earliest in advance. Before we began, the interviewer basically orally dictated that he would read questions that are asked to everyone and that there are no right or wrong answers but that the responses are graded against everyone else’s responses. I believe there were 5 questions. The interviewer scores your responses to the questions. I kept seeing 3’s but I don’t know what the scoring range was. The interviewer advises if your background check comes back in anyway different than what you have told them then they will not proceed with the position. When the interviewer was done with the questions, the floor was open for any questions. There are weekly secret shoppers that determine how much bonus money the store gets, which is split between the employees. There is also a monthly store bonus based on overall profit. That’s how the pay indicates $13.6/hr for 40hrs + overtime for the other 6hrs and up to an additional $500/wk for the secret shopping and monthly store bonus.

Easy and comfortable interview. I was asked why would I like to work for QT and making sure I was comfortable with the job role. I did not feel intimidated during the interview process.
