The virtual interview experience felt cold and distant from the very beginning, for reasons that weren’t clear. Research had been done thoroughly ahead of the conversation, and the discussion included relevant experience in sales, support, and marketing all of which aligned with the role’s requirements. There was a genuine interest in the opportunity and a strong effort made to engage professionally. Interviews should feel fair, giving every candidate a real chance. Unfortunately, this one did not feel that way.
