I was contacted for an initial video interview with the recruiter. The interview itself felt weird as I was not asked about any of my experiences, and my questions about the company always came back benefits, the selection of snacks and other items that didn't really paint a picture of the company.
I was told I would receive a follow up one way or another but I never received an email or the automatic "thanks but no thanks." I reached out and still didn't hear back. Sort of felt like I was ghosted but it was probably for the best.
Initial phone call, everything seemed to be a typical interview cycle. Spoke with the next person, and had a good conversation. In what seems to be a theme here, I received no follow up to my interview process for next steps. No typical thanks but no thanks, just silence. I followed up, and didn't hear back. My recommendation would be not to ghost potential employees, and waste anyone's time.
