"It is quite unfortunate that you had to go through such an ordeal. As an organziation, we do have standard recruitment processes in place to ensure that our candidates have a good experience. We are extremely professional about honoring offers and have never withdrawn an offer from any candidate once it is mailed or handed over as a document. Once the final offer document is signed by both parties i.e. the employee and the organization, the specific position opening against which the offer was made is marked as closed in the ATS system and we do not make any further offers. However, candidates do a no-show at the last minute and we have to be ready for such circumstances. Hence, we have backup candidates lined up for the same opening but none of them are offered until we realize that the candidate with the offer has dropped out or does not show up on the 1st day.
