      Entrevista

I applied on Indeed and was called the same day for an interview the following Monday. I was told to come in and bring a portfolio of my work. Upon arriving I met with one person who briefly talked to me about my qualifications and asked if I would be willing to do an in-house design test related to one of their upcoming projects. They did not tell me this before I came in for the interview, luckily I had my laptop. The small project essentially asked me to come up with an entirely new design approach within an hour. It was also not related to the type of design (print) the job description had advertised. After completing the project and speaking with a couple more people on staff, the interview was over. About a week and a half after not hearing anything, I received a call asking if I would be willing to do another design project as a "second chance" because one person liked my online portfolio but my in-interview project wasn't as strong. I agreed, received an email with the information, again unrelated to print design, this time a mobile design, yet I completed the project and sent it back. A week or so later, I received a call letting me know I had been selected for the position. I was asked to come in to the office to read over and sign an offer letter a few days later and agreed. Upon going in for the offer letter, I first met with the person who would be my supervisor and she explained what my job duties would be as soon as I came on and what project I would be completing that a designer who would be leaving had started. I then met with a different person who proceeded to mini-interview me, asking questions related to my qualifications. At the end of speaking with these people, I asked where the offer letter was that I had been called in to sign and was told that not only did they not have an offer letter, they would have to run it past their CEO before officially hiring me. Although moments before, one of the people I met with told me they would try to bring me on the following week. The other person then said she would be speaking with their CEO that weekend and would let me know on Monday. As a side note, I asked if I would be able to see the space/desk I would be working at and the interviewer seemed very hesitant to show me. After a few minutes she decided to take me over to where their employees worked but kept assuring me that they were doing renovations and the space would soon look entirely different. After waiting quite some time before checking in again, I was told that their CEO was still out of the country and thank you for my patience. After 3 months from the time of receiving an "offer" I still have heard nothing from this company.
