I was sourced by a Talent Manager on LinkedIn and invited to connect and hear more. At the beginning of the call, he mentioned he had another call immediately afterward, and he brought it up again during the conversation. That made the interview feel somewhat rushed. The discussion was professional but focused primarily on evaluating my experience rather than explaining the company, team, or role. At the end, I was told the hiring manager would review my interview and approve next steps within a few days with his hr and leadership team, but I was never asked whether I was interested in moving forward. I would have appreciated a more two-way conversation and more insight into the opportunity and company culture.
