I also have found Proact to be equally unprofessional.
I was contacted by the team supervisor to complete a rather basic informal phone interview with rather basic linux questions.
I found the questions rather odd given that it's a 3rd line linux role I was expecting more in depth technical questions and not disk related commands which anyone can get by googling, this should have set alarm bells ringing at this stage.! as hardly 3rd level questions.
After the informal phone interview I received a rushed and unprofessional email arranging a face to face interview.
So I turn up and there is no signage on the building itself.
There is no signage directing how to get into the office.
There is no signage in the actual building on which floor to goto.
I went into the building and the floor was an empty shell and looked abandoned. I did email the team supervisor asking and confirming the address and I got a rushed 'Maxim 3' so no actual address nor floor or anything!!
The telephone number's on the website for Glasgow was permanently engaged.
The 2nd number a female answered and advised they moved out.
I emailed the supervisor and his boss got no reply.
I called the Aberdeen office and no surprise there the phone just ringed out.
I continued to look around on how to get to the actual office without success.
I emailed further and regrettable gave up after a considerable amount of time and effort with no communication from anyone.
I got a rather unprofessional email from supervisor boss, needless to save this is a company that unprofessional and one to AVOID !
The whole process flagged alarm bells as soon as I spotted an empty floor and no communication responses.
Complete waste of time.
I did get a call from the supervisor pleading to re-arrange, which I turned down and heard that he was fire fighting alot of issues.
Avoid at all costs, as you will be out of pocket for travelling, phone calls.
