Set up a time to call the hiring manager early, between 6 am-8 am CST. They don't accommodate any time later in the day. Then you get a call later for a second interview where you do a practical exam before a panel of devs. After that, you never get to speak to the contracting manager again, even though they are in charge of your employment.
