Liked this company before, not anymore. First applied for Assistant Manager. Interview took 2 hours. Received a call for offer $16/hour. Counter for $18/hour due to experience & last job offer $18 for that same position. Never received a phone call which left me confused. Few months past, saw job posting on Indeed for Store Manager, giving it a second chance, submitted an resume. Received call directly from Kevin the owner to set up interview. I mentioned about what had happened, he apologized which was good to hear. I went to my interview & was left confused yet again as Kevin offered me for $16.50 for a Key Holder. I asked him what I was being interview for because the job posting was for Store Manager. He said it has been filled. He also said that there is never within his company there is an assistant management (shift supervisor) role which was a complete lie due to other job posting/reviews on Indeed, Glassdoor, etcs. This job description of that is clearly for assistant manager. I know I’m not crazy lol I don’t remember exactly how my first interview went but I know I had applied for assistant manager position & nothing lower than that. I know I had to decline his low ball offer. This is the only company I had ever interviewed that does not offer any kind of incentives such as pay time off, pay sick days, no health insurances, & no personal commissions pay.
Not only did Kevin wasted my time, & money, to not let me know the original position has been filled with a simple text or phone call. This company left a salty taste in my mouth as they do not have integrity, owner & employee is dishonest.
