Recruiter called and interview me to make sure I was a match, then HR at Plexus interviewed me to make sure I was a match. All positive feedback then PM interview me over the phone to make sure I was a good match then I went into the Raleigh NC office to meet with 4 people one of who told me I was a perfect match along with 3 other people. I knew once I left the 2 hour in person interview that I wasn't going to get the job simply because I'm black. The Senior PM was very surprised at the fact I was a black woman. I could tell how he walked in the hallway to meet me and walked past me then double back and asked the reception where was I. Sadly to say the recruiter was even upset that the only feedback they gave him was "we reached out to someone we had interviewed 4 months ago and offered them the position". He was shocked due to the fact everyone from HR to the PM I spoke to over the phone said I was a perfect match for the position and gave wonderful feedback until after the face to face interview. I find here in the Raleigh, Cary, and Apex area larger companies aren't very diverse and they have no plans on changing that by adding well educated, qualified blacks to the company. Plexus is a very shameful company!
