Pearson is know to have an extensive and exhaustive interview process for some of their IT positions. Mine was not as extensive, as the interview process started with the hiring manager, then a group interview with some of the key people on the team to get an idea of whether personalities might fit. The culture is pretty relaxed, business casual 2-3 days a week, many in IT are casual (jeans) 4 days a week, which is important to some. Office is very nice, commute reasonable, and very security conscious.
I am currently consulting at Pearson VUE and have grown to really enjoy it.
The interview process was based on a single interview round where it was checked my knowledge of the company, my knowledge and skills in Project Management and how I would deal with certain scenarios.

Entrevista
Good — Short process, no homework or product sense. People are friendly. Softball interview questions.
Bad — POOR BALANCE: Must wake up early, early even for eastern time. POOR TIME MANAGEMENT: Interviewers were late and did not leave any time for my questions. LACK OF MORALS: Struggled to demonstrate that they “do the right thing”, plus many microaggressions. LACK OF DIVERSITY: Everyone who interviewed me was of the same gender and race.

"What is the role as you understand it? What experiences from your background align best with this role?”
On the face of it, this is a fine question. However, the tone in which the executive asked it was too direct. Asking this before my self-introduction, not even 30 seconds after meeting me was rude. It made me feel like a ‘resource’ or a piece of cattle. Not a human being.

I applied via the website and received an interview email two weeks later. Had an interview that lasted about 30 mins, and thought it went pretty well. Answered all the questions. But did not get the offer.
