I applied online for the position at the Georgetown store and the following week I received a phone call from the store manager inviting me to a store interview. She was really friendly and I researched the company in depth as preparation for the interview. When I came to the store, I found out that I was participating in a group interview with two store management employees. I was intimidated and peeved with one of the managers who invited her overqualified employed next door neighbor to the interview. In comparison to the rest of the perspective applicants, who were just unemployed college students and graduates looking for a job to make ends meet.
