Personally, i’d advise that you avoid the flagship store.
The man I interviewed with was so rude and rushed the whole process.
Didn’t hear back for almost a month just to be told I was unsuccessful despite the fact that i’m more than qualified.
If you want a good experience avoid flagship store at all costs!

The interview was a shop floor based interview. I was presented with different scenarios, asked to sell their loyalty card and then actually placed on the shop floor to help real customers.

I heard about part-time vacancies through a friend who worked in the area (the store had flyers in the window) I decided to fill in an application form online (which had questions about work history and shift availability as you'd expect) I was called by the store manager about a week later for an in-person interview. On the day of the interview, I met with the manager I had spoken to on the phone (I noticed there were two other people also waiting to be interviewed) The chat was about 25 mins and was probably the most pleasant interview I've ever had. The manager was friendly and made me feel at ease.

The one thing I was asked that really stood out was: how I would deal with a difficult customer who had raised their voice

One on one interview, pretty informal, with a friendly interviewer. Only lasted around 30 minutes, in which they explained about the role, went through my CV and asked a couple of generic interview questions at the end.
