Applied through referral. Had a phone screening with HR, then a virtual technical interview. Decomposition interview. The whole process was pretty OK. The HR wasn't very responsive but OK in general.

I was asked what would I do if I were in the Spotify Data team and was asked to determine if the "Discover Weekly" feature is effective or not. What data should I ask for, what was the process, which tables would I need. What can the company do with this information. Etc.
Applied on their website and then received an email from a recruiter to schedule a phone screening. I expected to be interviewed by the recruiter (the person who sent me the email) but instead was called by one of their engineers.

They asked me what was the hardest challenge I solved and then asked how SLAM works.
Had a chat with HR and then a technical interview with an engineer. They gave some some quite normal leatcode type questions that I had to answer to continue to the next steps.
