This is the first stage of the interview, basically checking whether the applicant is a good fit of the role? It was a 20 mins telephone interview with the HR, mainly asking about the applicant's background and past projects. Provided information about the role.

Why do you think this role suits you/ what skills do you have to succeed in it?
Applied on their website and then received an email from a recruiter to schedule a phone screening. I expected to be interviewed by the recruiter (the person who sent me the email) but instead was called by one of their engineers.

They asked me what was the hardest challenge I solved and then asked how SLAM works.
Had a chat with HR and then a technical interview with an engineer. They gave some some quite normal leatcode type questions that I had to answer to continue to the next steps.
