Initial phone screen with internal recruiter. This person called 10 minutes early and approached the conversation in a way similar to what you might expect when recruiting an entry-level candidate (very course). Second conversation on the following week via video with hiring authority. I hit all the key points spot on and my compensation was within their range. The next day I received a canned rejection email. My conclusion is that they want someone 30 years old with the skillset and knowledge of a 50-year-old. Those over 40 need not apply! They are moving all support operations to Texas to benefit from the relaxed labor laws and less expensive candidate pool. Period! Proceed with caution.
