There was a panel-peer interview process with 4 experienced nurses (no nurse managers or supervisors, only peers). Each nurse has a list of senario-based questions prepared. The peer nurses are the ones who ultimately decided on the hiring. The environment was very laid back, but it's always intimidating to have a group a experienced nurses testing you based on the knowledge of your responses. Overall, it was a great learning experience. The night before the interview, I googled "nurse peer interview questions" and wrote down my answers based on on-the-job experience (or clinical experience if you're a new grad). Although the question aren't exactly what you may be asked in your interview, it was very helpful, and I felt prepared.
It was quick and painless. Did a zoom interview and was offered a position the next day. The questions were all pretty generic but otherwise seemed applicable to my career and position.

I was so so excited for this interview. I prepared to no end, dressed the part, and was very positive and engaging. What I got in return was a series of basic nursing questions and scenarios. They didn't ask ONE question about me. Not one. Clearly, they were more interested in hiring robots instead of personable and passionate people. I didn't feel welcome at all, nor did I feel they wanted to give me the time of day. I was asked to do a peer interview, but declined.
