The process needed lots of work, as I waited 30 minutes on a zoom call waiting for someone to actually attend the scheduled meeting that was made weeks prior. I almost hung up after 30 minutes, as that was the entire length of the meeting but I met with someone who neither apologized for the delay, but went to additional lengths to make excuses that their hiring process crashed zoom. The interview had little transparency related to the job and any standard questions were deflected, up until the salary question which was brought up almost immediately. When I stated I'd like to know more about the role and my responsibilities prior to sharing an arbitrary number, I was told "sir, we need that number if we are to continue the interview". So that was strike two and the final strike was to spend another hour of my time, unpaid, to do a skills assessment, when I already have an extensive portfolio that outlines a vast body of work. Instead they were inclined to have developers do more rudimentary tests to "prove" their worth that do not translate in the real world, only prove you can take a test and pass. It's sad as they are ostracizing themselves from a great pool of talented people who would love to work here.

They will have you complete an assessment that requires an 85% or higher. One portion of the assessment doesn't return a score however so unless you complete that fully as well as get an 85% on everything else, they will ghost you from there.
