After I applied for the role I was contacted for an informal telephone call, in fact it turned into a 45 minute interview grilling. I admitted straight away that i didnt have all the skills they were looking for and instead promoted my strenghts. The interviews tone and questions throughout were demoralising and aggressive. Constantly twisting my words to sound more negative than intended. They cared more about what percentage in my year at uni i came, which i didnt know, than my final grade. They scrutinized every part of my cv, made me rank my coding ability and then rerank it once i couldnt answer follow up technical questions. In the middle of the interview i was asked if i still had confidence i could do the role and again at the end i was asked if i wanted to proceed with my application. As one of my first interviews as a graduate it was an awful experience
