Preliminary phone interview to explain the company and position. I took it upon myself to research them further using social media just to get a feel for the company. Was invited for an in person interview after the phone interview. I was actually interviewed by two young guys. Neither had freight experience until they found NTG. They seemed nice but I felt as if they were looking more at if they’d want to have a beer with me after work rather looking at my past experience and skill set. After that they had me sit with someone to see what the actual job was like. You’re basically sitting in front of two monitors constantly monitoring your email and calling people to confirm if they can accept a load or report any issues. That job takes work ethic not brain power IMO. After that I never heard from them again. Pretty unprofessional to not even follow up with a rejection email. Other than that a very laid back environment most people are in jeans and flip flops and there’s beer on Friday.
