This was for a station owned by Nexstar in California. I went through an initial phone screen, then a second interview over Zoom. Then I was invited to do a writing test, which took about 2 hours to complete. Then I was invited for a third interview. After the third interview I sent my typical follow up thank you and then didn't hear back. I sent another follow up about three weeks later and was told they were still considering candidates. I never heard back from them again. So essentially I went through three interviews and a writing test, spending hours of my own time, and was ghosted.
