A recruiter reached out to me based on my LinkedIn profile. I then spoke with the recruiter twice, the director of the position, and a panel interview. I acknowledged from the beginning that I had not practiced some of the statistical analysis skills required for the position since I was in graduate school but was encouraged to continue with the process. After spending hours to put together a response to their exercise and then participating in the panel interview, I never received a response to notify me they were going with another candidate.
