They were looking for someone who had experience testing POS applications in Retail domain with knowledge on writing SQL queries and the minimum experience was 3 years. The hiring was not direct but from various Payroll vendors

Although the Interview was called for testers who had experience in testing POS applications there was not a single question about the same. But they had a Exam portal which I assume was developed Internally and had a lot questions related to White box testing and Advanced Level SQL questions (SQLPlus). Funny part is the candidate was supposed to enter his mobile number and register to the exam portal with OTP received. And they came to know that the portal accepts only non-DND numbers at the last minute when first candidate (which was me) was trying to register! What kind of testing you must have completed!? Wow
Talking about how the logistic were arranged! They had no idea how many candidates would be appearing. Every goddamn consultancy had shortlisted candidates and there were 250 candidates by 4PM. There were only 6 open positions for Testers! WOW!
