HR recruiter was friendly and seemed to take down notes about my skillset and experiences. Unfortunately, when it came time to follow-up after the HR screening call I was ghosted even though I was assured a call or email in return with next steps. Even if the hiring manager did not want to bring me in a simple email stating I was not selected would suffice. Instead, I repeatedly followed-up with recruiter for 3 weeks in which I eventually just gave up.
