I was scheduled for a phone interview initially. The Hiring Manager called almost 15 min late for the interview, in which I lost about half of the interview time. I spoke of as many of my credentials as I could during the short period of time , and the Hiring Manager stated that I have all of the qualifications needed for this position . She ended call by saying she was new to the recruiting process and will look into how I would move on the next step in the process. It sounded very genuine and promising. 2 days later, I received the automated HR letter that another candidate was chosen with skills that matched the position.
