Applied for the role through the Mintel website and was contacted within a week by phone call. Attended a 1:1 interview with the recruitment manager in the same week. This was relatively easy and informal competency based interview. Also did a simple numerical, vocabulary and data checking test on paper while at the interview. Also a typing speed test. Scheduled to meet the hiring manager in the next week and complete a copy editing exercise before the interview. Interview was 1:1 and was mainly skills-based. This interview was harder and more formal.
